EXPERIENCE

  • Mortgage Loan Officer, 2020 - Present

Peach State Bank & Trust is Northeast Georgia’s community-focused, financially strong institution dedicated to local service and strategic growth. As a top-producing loan officer, I played a key role in achieving over 25% growth in residential real estate loans from 2022 to 2023. I thrive on building strong relationships with clients, real estate and legal professionals, and community stakeholders, driving business growth and boosting our brand’s reputation as Hall County’s leading home lending provider. I expertly guide clients through the mortgage process, navigating complex transactions with ease and a smile. At Peach State, we believe in empowering our community one home at a time.

  • Family Violence Intervention Specialist, 2017 - 2021

New Hope and Creation Counseling are mental health organizations focused on addressing patterns of family violence and substance abuse in addition to a broad range of other clinical services. I led the facilitation of hundreds of psychoeducational groups for over 150 individuals charged with domestic violence offenses, developing strategic curricula that established positive behavioral patterns and lit the way toward meaningful change. I challenged individuals to think outside the box, especially in addressing toxic masculinity, helping clients break free from outdated gender roles. Through detailed note-taking and progress tracking, I ensured robust monitoring, high standards of victim safety, and program effectiveness, all while fostering a supportive and innovative environment

  • Theater Performance Educator, 2016 - 2020

The Hollow Horse Players is an award-winning youth theater program dedicated to providing a supportive environment for students to develop essential life skills and cultivate a sense of awareness and belonging through theater participation. I collaborated with a vibrant team of theater educators to design and lead acting lessons, creating engaging and inspiring performances that ignited students’ passion for storytelling. I mentored and guided hundreds of young actors across numerous productions, inspiring them to achieve excellence and personal growth, resulting in multiple acting awards and significant scholarship opportunities. We fostered a nurturing and inclusive environment where students, parents, and staff worked together with respect, honesty, and courtesy, building a strong sense of community and encouraging students to explore their talents and develop essential life skills.

  • Talent , 2017 - 2021

The Bell Agency is one of Atlanta’s fastest growing film, television, commercial, and print talent agencies. As represented talent, I have firsthand experience in professional creative environments: the rhythms of a set, the importance of timing, and the magic of bringing creative visions to life. With over 25 years in community, collegiate, and professional theater and film arts, I’ve worn many hats and embraced various roles. This extensive background has given me a deep appreciation for the collaborative process—knowing when to lead, when to listen, and how to harmonize different perspectives into a cohesive, compelling vision. I thrive in environments that celebrate curiosity, creativity, and impactful storytelling.

  • Child Protective Specialist, 2019

The Division of Family and Children Services was all about supporting families and keeping kids safe from abuse while helping families become more self-sufficient. My role involved assessing and documenting cases of child abuse and neglect, identifying threats to children’s safety, and providing crucial counseling and support services to both children and parents. I also monitored and evaluated how family behaviors and environmental factors impacted children, ensuring every child had the opportunity to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment

  • Care Coordinator, 2013 - 2014

I had the rewarding role of providing and coordinating care for an adult with cerebral palsy. I created and implemented physical and cognitive activities to promote his well-being and development. Teaming up with organizations like Stable Life and Avita, we ensured a seamless and supportive personal development program, always focused on making a positive impact on his life

  • Program Coordinator and Team Lead, 2009 - 2013

Eagle Ranch is an inpatient residential program dedicated to holistic, integrated therapeutic approaches, renewing individual purpose, family relationships, and hope for a bright future. I facilitated over 1,000 group and individual counseling sessions under experienced clinicians, bringing innovative therapeutic ideas to life in a collaborative setting. Empowering individuals to own their stories, I fostered personal agency and resilience, sparking transformative growth and positive change. Leading multidisciplinary teams, I created a safe, supportive space for over 200 clients, addressing emotional trauma and encouraging healthier behaviors, which fostered impactful, results-driven outcomes. By monitoring and evaluating progress, I used data to develop effective therapeutic strategies and actionable plans, achieving organizational goals. In training and supervising staff, I recognized individual potential and strategically leveraged unique skills for optimal team performance and cohesion. Collaborating with the Directors of Treatment and Education, I enhanced institutional functions, equipping staff with resources and strategies to achieve client goals and demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. Additionally, I developed and implemented departmental policies in line with institutional goals, ensuring cohesive support for the organization’s mission and vision, and fostering an environment where individuals were empowered to own their stories and drive positive change.

  • TEFL.TP Instructor, Summer 2008/2009

For two amazing summers, I taught English to Italian children ages 5-17. As a TEFL.TP educator (Teaching English as a Foreign Language through Theater and Play), I made learning an adventure with games, conversations, and drama. Implementing program curricula tailored to language skill levels, I turned classrooms into stages of creativity and fun. My first-year performance as an English teacher was so well-received that I was invited back for a second year and asked to help train new tutors.
